ONTO THE GOOD STUFF....

FIT STICK

Now I went on a little shopping trip with la boyfriend a while ago and tried to pick up a couple of new products and not re purchasing things I already had so I could try new things and get some reviews on here for you as I've been rubbish with the blogging lately! *sowwwyyy*
I found the Maybelline Fit Me Stick and just had to see what the hype was about.
Now, I have no bee wearing foundation lately because my skin is in horrible dry condition because of the weather changes and I can't seem to shift it, I would be really sad about this but I'm not, my skin feels like it can breathe so much more, I do still wear my concealer to hide my horrible dark circles and any blemishes and also a touch of powder if I feel the need to do so, therefore when I found this little stick of foundation and  powder magic I was super duper excited!
Rightly so too, it's a glorious mixture of all the things I needed, as I have dry skin I don't suffer from any shine so I didn't buy the stick for that reason, I still love it though, I really don't think you need to have shiny oily skin to benefit from this product, it's a lovely light alternative to foundation, it smells great and it goes on beautifully.
I do use either a foundation brush to blend the product in after I've applied it to my skin or sometimes when I'm out and about and I've thrown this stick into my handbag I'll just use my fingers to blend it out.

LITTLE SIDE NOTE: Throwing this into my bag was a rookie mistake as it has actually snapped at the base, GOD KNOWS HOW! But this happened, it hasn't affected how it works but I'm pretty sad about it! HAHA

Oh well onwards and upwards, overall loving this product and wear it most days!

So in conclusion, be sure to check out my YouTube channel and also my Instagram: @charlougraybeauty

Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer

Oh I tell you what beauties this is the nicest bronzer I've ever used! I've been using blusher for about a year now trying to cheer up the English weather in my own little way!
However, after my holiday I got a bit of a tan and felt like I needed some colour, I was talking to a friend about trying out some new bronzers and she said 'no need ill send you one of my favourites'

I read a few reviews people said it smells like chocolate, I feel it does but it's a rather perfumey chocolate so quite an uh usual smell!
However, the texture of this is beautiful it goes on with such ease using a simple bronzing brush I've been using a powder brush though because I've been using it for contouring and evening the tan in my chest (like I said I have a tan and my foundation and powders are too light at the moment)
I've found it staying on all day even when I've been all oily and disgusting from the scolding heat that we have been blessed with here in England! 😀

So all in all this is a lovely product, lovely colour, beautiful texture, long lasting and not too pricey!!

I'm so sorry I've been rubbish with blogging now, but I'm starting to do it from my ipad so it's easier now to do it more frequently!

I'm looking to do a giveaway soon I'm excited!!

MY FIRST GLOSSY BOX!!

Oh my gawwwdddd,
I am overly excited about my first ever flossy box!
How or why have I never done this before!
WOOO WOOOOO.
Okay so first things first the box it came in is just so pretty I'm going to use it in my room for something, not sure what yet!
Possible hairbands and bobby pins?!
So, in this months Glossy Box came;
Essie Nail Lacquer, Lipcote, Coconut Nip + Fab, Daily Microfoliant from Dermalogica, Yves Rocher France So Elixir Purple Yves Rocher Eau de Parfum.
The perfume is so beautiful and I just love it, I love it so much that I'm going to order the full size one my nan liked the smell of it too so I have given the small bottle that I got in my glossy box to her and I'll have the bigger bottle! (cheeky)

I love Essie nail Laquers and got the most delicious colour today!
If you want a nail polish that doesn't chip and comes in a variety of beautiful colours then ESSIE IS THE PLACE TO BE!

Lipcote is a product that I used to use when I was a dancer, for competitions I would apply my lipstick in the morning and apply a coat of Lipcote and my lipstick would stay on all day it's an amazing product, doesn't taste very nice but who is eating it? haha.
It's a bargain at £3.99 and the bottle lasts quite a while!

Now I've only used the Dermalogica exfoliator once but my face feels so soft and amazing I feel fresh after a pampering day!
I will do a proper post on this product when I've used it a few more times, It's quite pricey at retail so we'll see if it's good enough to buy!

I haven't tried out the moisturizer yet but it says it's good for dry skin which I suffer with so we shall seeeee beauties!

I also purchased some more Bio Oil because it was on offer on Amazon a 200ml bottle for just £10 so get over there now!
I'm actually going to religiously apply this twice a day to my stretch marks and scars to hopefully get rid of them or at least make them less visible especially the ones on my legs because I'm so self conscious!

Like I said I'll do a proper blog post on them soon!

Lots of Love just wanted to let you know!

Mini MUA Haul

Right, so I was on the MUA website the other day just having a look at the £1 lipsticks as I do on a regular basis. Cheeky.
When I came across a rather daring pink- well, daring to me not so daring to others I expect!
I thought d'you know what? It's a £1 if I don't like it I haven't wasted £15 on a lipstick I'll never wear again and I can just give it to my sister or something?! It was 'Shade 3'
Then once I'd added one lipstick to my basket I thought- oh postage and packaging... Better buy a couple more things to make it worth the extra postage money!
So, after buying such an outrageous colour I decided to tone it down a bit and go for a bare, nude lipstick which I did:
'Shade 14- Bare'
The lipsticks are only £1 and I love them! You're paying £1 for a lipstick you can't really go wrong! I think they stay on my lips for a considerable amount of time and although these ones aren't extremly moisturising I'm constantly wearing carmex anyway and suffering with dry lips quite a bit at the moment so have only worn these lipsticks once but I loved them!!

Then after searching around for ages and not finding anything that really tickled my fancy I thought I'd try out the eyebrow pencil that they have which is only £1.
I am not a fan of this eyebrow pencil I don't know if it's just me but I thought it was really sticky and stodgey!
Shall not be using it again, except maybe if it's a last resort, I may have a play around with it see if I can get it going on smoothly and nice but I was NOT impressed!

I then got the eye shadow, I only got one and in a very bare shade because I had never purchased an eye shadow from MUA before and wanted to test it out, I was looking for a shade as close to my natural lid colour as possible to wear with black gel liner and this was exactly what I was looking for, it applies smoothly it stayed on for about 6 hours then I noticed it needed re applying but I was home by then anyway! Although, it's very nude it did show a difference because it has a slightly yellowy undertone to it.
I got mine is 'Shade 17- Matt'

Next my two nail polish's

I. LOVE. THEM.
They're only a £1 and the bottle looks a lot like the Essie bottles which just adds a bit of extra glamour I think!
I love the new bottles.
I love the way it applies.
I love that it doesn't chip instantly!
I LOVE THE COLOURS!!

I got 'Amaretto Crush' and 'Plum Noir'
BUT, I shall be buying a lot more, every colour I'd say!!

Collection 2000 Concealer

I got this beauty a few weeks ago now and I had heard such great reviews about it I thought oh marvoooo I'm going to have an amazing concealer to hide all these hideous 'friends' on my face!
But I only went and got it in the wrong blooooming shade.
One shade too dark for my A4 white papier skin. *boohoo*
I've still been using it though because it wasn't that bad underneath my foundation until now when the weather has (for one day) brightened up a bit and I find myself not wanting to wear as much or infact ANY foundation.
So I'm going to pick up the lighter shade tomorrow so that I can just wear this concealer and maybe a bit of powder and that's it as far as 'face make up' goes.
Hopefully the weather cheers up a bit, England is so crappy at the moment!
So I'll let you know what that shade is like!
The coverage of this is amazing though and honestly lasts all day normally I'm having to re cover up with concealers but this one just doesn't need it!
I'm thankful to of found this after my disappointment with the Wake Me Up concealer (See Previous Post)

I'm off out for the day tomorrow so I may even purchase some more goodies to review!

Sorry I've been a bit pants lately been very busy preparing to start my new job (starting work in a hospital takes a LOT of prep apparently starting with jabs, me no likey needles in ME) :(
Also, it was my birthday so I was busy planning that.
Business as usual again now though- I hope!

OOTD- Relaxed Date Night

Tonight I am off to my bestest friends house for some dinner a few drinks and some girly time with another of our friends.
This is what I'm wearing, sorry the picture quality is rubbish I ran all over the house trying to get a good picture!
I'm wearing:

Mint Jumper from H&M
White Cami Top Underneath also from H&M (my favourite cami tops because they're so thick, lovely material)
Denim Shorts recently purchased from Primark, pretty much the only shorts I could find that don't show my bum cheeks! AND they were only £6!
Tights were from H&M aswell!

Not like H&M's my favourite shop at the moment or anything ;)
Very comfortable outfit just wearing little white pumps aswell but they'll be coming off when I get to my friends house!

Rimmel LYCRA PRO- 313 Cocktail Passion

Well, This is another nail polish I purchased on my shopping trip and have since had the chance to use it properly!
It's such a beautiful and vibrant colour, 1 coat most definitely does the trick and it stays on really well! No chips so far ladies! Which is always a good thing.
As much as I'm looking forward to spring time and all the pastel colours I do think this colour will work perfectly as I currently have it on my nails along with my new Barry M Gelly colour which reminds me of Parmaviolets! I actually have shellac on underneath it (naughty naughty) not due another nail appointment until wednesday so I shall have to wait until then to upload a picture of my nice nails- follow me on Instagram to see that 'charlougray'

Sorry this is such a short post but I don't have any cons for this polish it's so lovely and the brush is so nice to apply it no round long and flat which is always a plus!

Kisses to you lovely lovely readers!
